Vince Zampella, the mind behind the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.
The renowned game designer died after his car crashed and caught fire on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, according to.
